Article 14(PAINTING AND PROTECTIVE COATING)
①공급될 장비의 상태가 정밀결합을 요하여 기계로 깎은 광택면이 필요한 경우, 그 표면에 도장을 하여서는 아니 되며 적절한 보호피복을 하여 부식을 방지하여야 한다.
①If equipment to be furnished requires bright or machined surfaces to insure precision fit, such surfaces shall not be painted but shall be protected against corrosive action by a suitable protective coating.
②통상적으로 도장을 하지 않는 기타 금속표면 역시 동일한 방법으로 보호되어야 한다. 보호피복은 운송 및 저장 중 표면을 적절하게 보호할 수 있는 형태와 방식이어야 한다.
②All other metal surfaces which are not to be normally painted shall be protected in the same manner. Protective coatings shall be of types and formulas which insure adequate protection to the surface, in transit and storage on route to final destination.
③기타 모든 물품의 부분품은 조립 전에 1차로 고급 도장을 하고 조립 후에 2차 도장을 하여야 한다. 최종 조립 후 2차 도장을 할 수 없는 부분품은 조립전에 2회 도장하여야 한다. 수요기관이 특별히 승인하지 않는 한 검정이전에 도장을 하여서는 안된다.
③All other Goods parts shall receive one coat of high quality paint before assembly and a second coat after assembly. Parts not accessible for painting after final assembly shall receive two coats of paint prior to assembly. No painting shall be performed prior to inspection unless specifically approved by the End User.
